Screen Omovies@School International Film Festival VOL.6

“Stimoleremo i giovani a pensieri inclusivi che ripudiano bullismo omofobico, discriminazioni e violenze di genere, troppo spesso presenti nella cronaca di questi giorni”, spiega Carlo Cremona, direttore artistico del festival che ha supervisionato i film insieme con i volontari del Servizio Civile Universale.

Due le categorie: una per i giurati minorenni dalla quale sono state escluse le scene violente e l’altra completa per i docenti e la giuria tecnica composta da alcuni vincitori delle scorse edizioni di Omovies e professionisti del mondo dello spettacolo.
Il premio Andrea Spezzacatena sarà consegnato il giorno 28 Giugno al Galà del cinema per i Giovani

“Omovies@School”, promosso dal Ministero dei Beni Culturali e dal Ministero dell’Istruzione. Parteciperanno gli studenti degli istituti “Vico”, “Sauro Errico Pascoli”, “Ristori” e “Miraglia – Sogliano” di Napoli, il “Nitti” di Portici, il “Nizzola” di Trezzo sull’Adda in provincia di Milano, e il “Baccelli” di Tivoli.
Il festival è dedicato alla memoria di Maria Paola Gaglione, giovane vittima di violenza.

The seventh art in the fight against bullying and gender-based violence. Festival promoted by the iKen non-profit association which involves 5,300 students from Neapolitan and Milanese upper and lower secondary classes from Monday 21st June in the web cinema review.
“We will stimulate young people to inclusive thoughts that repudiate homophobic bullysm, discrimination and gender violence, too much present in the news these days”, explains Carlo Cremona, artistic director of the festival who supervised the movies together with the volunteers of the Universal Civil Service.
There are two categories: one for underage jurors from which violent scenes have been excluded and the other uncensored for teachers in addition to the technical jury made up of some winners of Omovies’ past editions and professionals from the entertainment world.
The Andrea Spezzacatena award will be presented on June 28th at the Youth Cinema Gala
“Omovies @ School”, promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Education. This Festival will be attended by students from the “Vico”, “Sauro Errico Pascoli”, “Ristori” and “Miraglia – Sogliano” institutes of Naples, the “Nitti” of Portici, the “Nizzola” of Trezzo sull’Adda in the province of Milan, and the “Baccelli” of Tivoli.
The festival is dedicated to the memory of Maria Paola Gaglione, a young victim of violence.
